HOW TO JOIN If you enjoy singing we would very much like to meet you. Come along to one of the rehearsals which take place on Monday evenings from September to June, 7.30-9.30 pm. We meet in the Christ Church Hall in Horebeech Lane, Horam. It helps if you can follow music but singing on sight is not essential as we spend some time learning notes. You will find that this improves very quickly as we rehearse. Contact us for more details. SUBSCRIPTION The Subscription for members is in the region of £50 a year payable in two instalments if required - in September and January. We expect prospective members to come to three rehearsals without committing themselves or paying anything. CONCERT DRESS Concert dress for women is black blouse, shirt or top (matt finish), with collar or high neck-line and sleeves to wrist; black ankle-length skirt; (a dress of similar style is an acceptable alternative); claret-coloured HCS scarf. Men wear dinner jackets, with claret-coloured HCS bow ties. Scarves and bow ties are provided on loan by the Society. If you have a problem, don't panic - we can probably make some helpful suggestions. |
